Dear Concerned,
I Sania Kazi having CNIC # 41307-2892796-6 was issued UBL auto credit card number 418231000041506. My card was blocked by UBL within 15 to 20 days of card activation on account of some VISA issue as informed by Call center. I queried regarding the issuance of new card on blockage call and the duplication of annual fee and chip charges but i was informed that only the card number will be changed and other things will remain as it is. I also queried regarding the estimated time by which i will get new card, i was given one to two weeks time for issuance of new card.
One month passed but i didn’t received the card and on again querying from call center i was informed that it is in process and i will soon receive the card.
I also tried to pay online the bill through my record of transactions i did but it didn’t processed due to beneficiary account not found error. I called call center and they diverted me to contact anti fraud department to call to pay the bill.
In the meanwhile, Mr. Mehtab and Mr. Kashif from UBL called me for payment after two months and statement was received then on email after my request. I have paid all the transactions amount done by me including the SMS service fee to the person sent by them to me.
I am requesting UBL to waive the annual fee and chip fee also the late fee surcharge as i am not the holder of UBL credit card and default is not on my part it was miscommunication by UBL part, but no positive response from them and every month they are hitting the surcharge on balance i am not liable to pay.
Also to note, I am holder of HBL and Silk Bank Credit Card since 2014 and i have not faced any issues such like in UBL.
I will be waiting for positive response.
