Dear Sir,
In SNGPL Bahawalpur region, SNGPL staff removes Gas meters & ask money to restore Gas supply to consumer, it become a common practice in Bahawalpur city to my best knowledge.
My meter was removed while we weren’t at home on December 26, 2018. We always pay bills in timely manners and never commit any violation so I was surprised & contacted SNGPL office to know the reason for dis-connectivity. They refused that they didn’t remove the meter and advise me to launch FIR for meter lost/theft before submitting a request to reinstall meter.
I am wondering the lost meter is of no use for anyone else except SNGPL, I requested to local authorities at SNGPL to investigate likewise activities because I am sure SNGPL staff is apparently involve in it. I am unable to understand why someone took my meter, where it sold & what is its use?
Now in my particular case, I need to reinstall my meter ASAP and at reasonable cost. Please advise me what exactly I have to do and how much I need to pay for reconnecting my Gas supply?
