Dear Sir,
As you are well aware that SSGC is charging over bill in the name of PUG Charges since last 4 months in the Gas Bills.
In this regard, I went to complain for over billing to our Zone SSGC Customer Facilitation Centre in Block-6, F.B. Area. But the concern person there told me that those consumers whose monthly Unit Consumption is low I.e below 30 Units and there bill charged around 200/-, therefore, we are going to change the meters of these consumers and these PUG Charges are for that
Then I told him, that we are only 2 family members and residing in a small flat of 2 room & lounge and no Geasure is installed at our flat. Therefore, our monthly Gas bill is normally of Rs.200/- and within 30 Units.
And then that Customer Care Representative went in the room of Zonal Manager Mr.Aley Raza and shown him my bill. Then after their discussion, the CSR called to me and Zonal Manager told me that Monthly Consumption Bar Chart of your Gas bill from Jan-2016 to Sep 2016 showing consumption of 35 to 50 Units, but from Oct 2016 this consumption has been decreased and within 20 Units, and that was the Winter season.
Then I replied to him, Sir previously this flat was on Rent and we recently shifted in our this flat in mid of Sep-2016 and we are only 2 members (me & my wife) and no Geasure is installed there. Then being a low consumption consumers why you imposed on us these extra charges of Rs.275 monthly.
But that Zonal Manager remained on his point and said till June you have to pay PUG Charges for changing the Gas Meter and meanwhile your Gas Meter will be changed. Then, I said him that Gas Meters has recently installed, so there is no need to change. (as per Meter and also you can see recent bill shows reading of 559 Units only). (Last bill attached for your reference). Further on my query he confirmed me that our Gas Meter was changed on 10,Sep’2015.
But in Current bill of March 2Citizens. Charges also added. Now tomorrow I decide to complain for this in Wafaqi Mohtasib & in OGRA to resolve the problem of Karachi Citizens
