Apologies if I violated your privacy but this needs to be in your knowledge I had no clue regarding who to communicate for this issue therefore after thinking a lot I am writing to you
To whom it may concern
I joined OMI Hospital as a Medical Officer four months ago
The workplace environment was extremely toxic and mentally caused me a lot of troubles. The medical officers who are working there already, bullied me, humiliated me and always managed to bring me down. They created such an environment for me that I used to get cold feet while presenting a patient case in front of the admin even thou knowing everything bout the patient I still used to stammer n not be able to deliver the information
Thou I tried my level best to make sure with the patient care , carried all the necessary orders as directed by the consultants but unfortunately they didn’t appreciate my efforts and approach. Rather from day one since I joined, the in charge SAIMA SAEED used to mock me and tell me that she would have to let me go soon. I tried to improve myself and to an extent I managed to do so first I thout yea there must be something major lacking in my approach towards the patient care and knowledge but then I received appreciation from the patients themselves as well as their attendants since then this doubt was cleared
After serving there for long duty hours , when there was no major mistake or any negligence done by me suddenly one day I got a call from the HR that unfortunately they would not be able to continue with me anymore. When I spoke to the in charge SAIMA SAEED she told me that my last duty would be on Sunday of the same week I received a call from the HR. Like it was all of a sudden , the same SAIMA SAEED who was discussing with me regarding putting me in the night shifts two days ago from the day she told me to discontinue and resign ASAP because she has appointed someone else for my position. I requested her to at least let me serve and complete the month but she refused and gave me a shut up call
The HR tried their best to force up on me for resignation to which I refused politely. The same day I was on duty on the floor at OMI Hospital dealing with the attendants and a lady named MEESA from the HR came to me to get the ‘Letter of Release from Services’ signed. She literally insulted me in front of the attendants, the coordinator, and the staff therefore I had to sign the letter and leave the premises immediately
Now 25 days are over and I haven’t received any call from the HR for the clearance of my dues. When I communicated with the HR , they told me that they were busy and wouldn’t be able to clear my dues anytime soon. They didn’t give me a date of clearance rather they are trying to delay the clearance process intentionally I recently realised this because the HR lady didn’t even let me get my clearance form signed by myself from the different departments which was the requirement of the clearance form, instead she told me that she would get them signed for me by herself
The torture I had to face and bear at OMI Hospital is a long series of toxic events that I can share in detail from date time and person individually. Upon multiple times informing the in charge SAIMA SAEED I expected her to resolve the issues and clear the misunderstandings , she did not pay attention to it rather threatened me every time that she would take away my employee card and send me straight home from duty.
In the end the only person I would like to hold responsible for this chaos is SAIMA SAEED who succeeded in manipulating and creating misunderstandings as much as possible between me and everyone at OMI Hospital
No show cause notice , no warning letter, no discussion or explanation regarding any sort of dispute, nothing in writing or documented and a sudden Letter of Release from Services. In the end they did not even mention anything that would justify the reason behind firing me overnight
Should I expect even more worse than this from such a huge Private Limited Company ?
Despite of the torture I had to face I still managed to clear my Part One FCPS in Medicine and Allied last May. Unfortunately that too didn’t clear the doubts in almost everybody’s head at OMI regarding my knowledge and capabilities in the field of Medicine
I am no one to question the decision of the company for taking my job away. I only request the company to clear my dues without humiliating me any further by delaying the clearance process
