I visited NADRA on 30-May-2018 to get the bay form of my family I was told that data of NADRA is showing my marital status as single. This was shock for me because I got a renewed NIC Card on 17-June-2012 whereas I got married on 12-11-2011 and I gave all information regarding me and I also requested NADRA to change my marital status as married and it can be verified in my application which I submitted in 2012 for renewal of card.
I was helpless then. I again submitted application on 01-June-2018. Nadra staff told me that I have to wait for at least 40 days for renewal of NIC which is obviously too much time consuming. I argued with NADRA staff that is there any other way to get NIC soon. They explained me different amount slabs of NADRA, fastest way to get NIC is to pay executive fee of PKR.2500 which I paid. After this I visited on NADRA office on 08-June-2018 to get my id Card Nadra staff told me that it is in printing process. On 12-June-2018 I again visited NADRA office to claim NIC Nadra staff told me that it is in printing process. Today On 14-June-2018 I again visited NADRA office to claim NIC Nadra staff told me that it is in printing process. This is quite frustrating.
I am now suffering by this non-professional way of functioning of NADRA. Now it’s above 10 days and I want compensation. NADRA should adjust amount which I have paid in as executive fee and refund the adjusted amount back to me.
