I tried to purchase grocery items via MRF app on 9th April 2021 through my registered account (registered email: [email protected]). I tried to pay via Debit card, however, it gave me an error message of a failed transaction. Later, when I reconciled with my bank statement, it appears that the transaction has been deducted. This happened 3 times as per following details:
Transaction 1:
Amount Charged: 16,767
Merchant / MRF Hypermarkets PAK: 0423230510
Transaction 2:
Amount Charged: 16,767
Merchant / MRF Hypermarkets PAK: 0423230510
Transaction 3:
Amount Charged: 13,568
Merchant / MRF Hypermarkets PAK: 0423230510
Please note that i did not receive any confirmation of the order. The screen shot of my bank statement have been provided to the merchant.
I have been requesting the merchant (MRF Carrefour) several times via email but they maintain that the amount is not charged, rather put on hold and bank will return. However, the bank says that it’s charged and Carrefour have to return the amount. Till date, I am trying to follow up with the store but nothing has been done or committed. Kindly help as a total amount of 47,102 is wrong fully deducted.
