It is apprised that, several stone crusher plants are installed at New Khanpur, District Haripur. The installed crusher plants are much closed to living population and destroying the whole environment of Khanpur. I am living at mohallah Islam Nagar New Khanpur, Dictrict Haripur and I am affected by these plants. The powerful mafia threatens us to leave this place while we are living at that place from 1981. Total population of Khanpur is 10,000 and all are affected by it. Due to these plants, dust, diseases and many other problems are emerging in this area. A very strong mafia is behind these plants and they have passed the bill in KPK that these kind of plants can be installed at 300 feet from population which is totally cruelty and brutal act. Please think if such kind of plants are installed at about 300 feet then what will be the condition of that area, whole khanpur valley looks like covered in dust, many living plants have been cut downed, less rain fall and less water in Khapur Dam. I have been complaining at citizen portal cell but no action has been taken against them. The powerful mafia involved with Secretary Mining and Mineral department KPK, DC Office Haripur, Police station Kanpur, all these departments and individuals are taking their commission from it and earning millions of rupees.
We cannot sleep at night due to noise of these crusher plants, heavy blasting is carried on due to which our houses are being cracked. The heavy trucks weighing tons of crush passes through our narrow streets because of that our doors and windows start vibrating. Many visits have been made by mineral department KPK at these sites and they wrote their reports sitting with powerful mafia that all is well at khanpur. Nobody is taking care of environment, environment protection department is also sleeping. From top to bottom, all departments and individuals are involved and looting the money.
About one month ago, these crusher plants have been stopped on order of supreme court, but after few days they have started again heavy blasting in this area at night. At day time they do not run these plants to avoid from any cross check from departments, but at night time they do heavy blasting and heavy trucks passes by our home so that we cannot sleep. They are using graveyard land by breaking boundary wall of graveyard and when any villagers try to stop them they threat for worst consequences. On all this situation khanpur police is sleeping and taking their monthly commission from them. The people who say KPK police is free from political influence they say wrong.
It is requested to you please take action against this mafia so that we can sleep normally at our homes, this is our right and I hope you will do it.
Please Please Please take action against this stone crusher plant mafia.
