I am an account holder of Shah Faisal Colony branch of Meezan Bank. My CNC No. is 42201-7128148-7. On Nov. 04, 2019 the branch Manager Manager, Khalid Malik, called me at around 7:15 in the evening and asked me to lend my ATM Debit card because he wanted to buy a gift for his daughter’s birthday. Please be informed that I am a platinum debit card holder and as per his statement there has been a discount for platinum card holders. Furthermore he said he was for another fifteen minutes in the bank for closing and if I can’t come to bank then he would send a branch employee, Mr. Nadeem, to collect it from my house. I told him that I can’t decide in a short notice. On Nov. 5, 2019 I launched a detailed complain in Meezan Bank’s complain office and highlighted the incident. I did this due to a security email send by Meezan Bank head office warning me not to share any information about my ATM card to any person. I waited for twenty days for any response from the bank but there was nothing. Almost after 22 days on 27.11.2019 I sent a reminder to remind Meezan Bank complain center about status of my complain but again no response from the complain center pf the bank. During this period the bank sent me several security threat warnings. I mentioned this incident to operation manager of the branch, Mr. Anwar, he advised me ro forget about the incident. I waited a long time but in vain. I also told Mr, Anwar that I was left with no other option than to send a complain to State Bank and they would certainly launch an inquiry about this. It looks like the branch manager, Khalid Malik, seems to be influential in the head office of the bank specially has some buddies in complain department of bank who manage these complains. Now I think that my account is not secured in this bank where the branch manager breaches the account holder’s security. I am being taunted by staff because they all know about my complain but instead of any action they see the branch manager enjoying his status in the branch. I have saved copy of my complain plus copy of the reminder and ready to send them to state bank, if I am asked to. I also very much ready and available for any inquiry and investigations in this regard. I want to make it a test case for Meezan Bank to investigate and point out person or persons who blocked my complain and reminder in the head office of Meezan Bank. I hope that my request will meet the august complain center of State Bank. I simply want that all the account holder’s money is secured in this branch. TRUE, I AM FACING SAME ISSUE FROM MEEZAN BANK’S GULBERG KARACHI BRANCH. MANAGER CREATING PROBLEM & I COMPLAINED TO HEAD OFFICE BUT RECEIVE NO RESPONSE. ITS LOOK LIKE THAT THERE IS NO MANAGEMENT IN MEEZAN BANK & ERVERY BODY IS DOING WHAT THEY WANT & THEY DON’T CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.
