Dear Sir,
I was really excited to receive my account statement on July 7, 2017 , because at least after six months, I got something on my investment. This investment is my savings of my hard earned money during last 6 to seven years. It is all that I have. Nevertheless, this amount has not been transferred into my account.
I have trusted Meezan Bank as it has been endorsed by Mufti Taqi Usmani, Late Junaid Jamshaid and Maulana Tariq Jamil. Now I do feel that my decision was wrong especially after having six months of very poor customer services as well as the misleading information from the investment/business development officers.
Lately, when I asked about the transfer of profit or monthly income in my account. Simple response was that it is transferred on 25th of each month and it depends on the rate of share at that time. As per the investment officer, this statement or monthly income is null and void. The actual will come on July 25, 2017.
Logically, I really could not grab the irresponsible statement of Mr. X at Wapda Town round about branch for following two reasons:
1) If this statement is void till July 25, 2017 then why it has been sent to the undersigned
2) If monthly income is being transferred on 25th of every month; then why my profit/monthly income was not moved into my account on June 25th.
I have launched my complaint at Meezan Bank customer services yesterday. The representative informed me that profit was not posted into my account because of some internal error and he launched the complaint. On the contrary, owing to my experience with your venerated bank; I don’t have any hopes that my issue will be resolved. I had updated my cell no through an application in March 2017. Unfortunately, it has not been updated till to date in your systems. This truly depicts the level of your customer services and professionalism.
Now, I am really thinking to withdraw my investment and place it into some other commercial bank. At least, these guys are truthful. Though I have tried to invest in Islamic Bank; but to my utter dismay Meezan Bank has failed miserably. I don’t want to quote any name from the branch; I only want solution of my problem.
At the moment, my only request is to please transfer my monthly income in my account at your earliest. Furthermore, please update my cell number as 03018282506 in your systems. If you can’t do it, please do let me know; so that I can withdraw my investment and not waste another six months.
Your kind cooperation in this regard will be highly appreciated.
