Dear Sirs:
May I take the opportunity to apprise you couple of great examples of Customer Services being provided by some of the Officials at MCB. One of our Company’s Senior Executives Mr. Rashid Aziz having a joint account at MCB, DHA Stadium (Khadda Market Branch) bearing A/c No. 0000476621001695. Unfortunately till writing of this note, neither the cheque book nor the Debit Card/ATM has been issued to the account holder. Though, keeping in view our need, the Account Holder visited the branch about a month ago and applied for the issuance of Debit Card. After passage of considerable time, our Representative visited the branch and asked for both cheque book as well as for the Debit Card on 23rd January, 2017. He has been told that there is no cheque book and no record of the application for the Debit Card is available at the branch. Hence we have no alternate, but to submit another request for the issuance of cheque book and application form provided by the Operation Manager at the Branch, for the purpose, duly filled-in for the issuance of Debit Card. Needless to mention here that during the above exercise, we have made number of attempts to contact any one at the branch on telephone, but all in vain. When all else have failed and there was no change seems in the attitude of the staff, I have decided to pen-down couple of words, which may be helpful and may save some other customers of MCB to run from Pillar-to-Post.
Still till todate January 30, 2017, our representative visited alongwith the Authority Letter to collect the cheque book which was ready at the branch, but today, we have been told that the cheque can either be collected by one of the account holder or otherwise both signatures are required on the authority letter. Despite of my persistence insistance, I had also mentioned that the request for the cheque book has been submitted had only single signature whose authority letter being presented for the collection, but nothing materialize and still we are seeking the kindness.
Yet we are awaiting and looking forward for the kindness of the branch for the requests submitted at the branch.
