In the first week of June our whole streets meters were changed. But were charged reconnection charges in March and then again in June and once more in July. Before the meter was changed our monthly bill was maximum 5000 and minimum 2500. Last year in June and July it reached 11k -13k as we had guests from abroad and we switched on the airconditioner for them, otherwise we don’t use it coz of the fear of excess bill. As soon as they changed the meter we received the bill charged Rs.33000 showing units 1500 whereas our consumption is max 450 and mini 145. Upon our first complain we were told that we have to pay it no matter what. On our second complain when we showed our history they said that the old meter was too slow. Now can somebody please tell what can be done? I can’t pay such a big amount that which I know is wrong.
