Dear Sir,
I Mir Hassan Riaz, employee of Cybernet Internet Services Pvt Ltd, holding a company account in your bank am writing this application to report an incident which has occurred with me.
On Thursday, 26th Jan 2017 at 18:50PM I had made an atm transaction of rupees 3000 from your HBL branch (272/1, R.A. Lines, State Life Building No.11 Ground Floor, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi), from that transaction I had received 2 notes of rupees thousand and two notes of rupees five hundred (overall rs 3000). As there was an absence of a security guard on the atm and due to the fear of criminal activities in our city I had immediately received the receipt of my transaction and kept the amount directly in my pocket (this is visible in cctv camera recordings aswell). I had specially withdrawn an amount of rs 3000 to perform a donation in Saylani Welfare Trust (Receipt can be provided). Once I reached Saylani Welfare Trust office, upon the handing over of the amount to the cashier I was informed that a thousand rupee note out of the three thousand rupee I had withdrawn is fake.
I assure you that I had not made any money transaction/exchange on my way to Saylani Welfare Trust because i had to attend a religious event over their named Shab e Jumma for which I was getting late and i had to reach there the earliest possible (timestamps can be verified from Saylani Welfare Trust as well). Therefore, the impression of getting this fake note mixed up from any other source does not exist and that is the reason why i clearly hold HBL branch staff involvement in this.
Sir ! I am writing this to request you to take immediate actions against this fraud which i have encountered. It can either be a human error by your staff or may denote the involvement of some internal staff (among the cashier/cash while doing manual counting or by the cash transferring entity into the atm) in this corruption..
Being a responsible citizen of this city i want to stop the relaying of this fake so i am reporting this case to you so that you investigate and take immediate actions against the black sheep involved in this fraud. I would like to further mention two demands which are as mentioned below:
1) Reimbursement of my loss
2) Un-biased investigation of the personnel involved in this crime/corruption
My innocence is evident from the fact that i am reporting this issue, struggling to get justice/ to save others from undergoing such fraud and sorrow and to play my role in the improvement of the system instead of acting like a typical citizen and relaying the fake note further. This is now not just of a thousand rupee fake note its about absolutism.
I hope that you would take immediate actions asap.
