Dawn News published a article in December 2017 that Dr Atiq Durrani who is a spine surgeon working in Doctors Hospital secretly- the fugitive doctors who has many medical malpractice cases against him in America has stopped his practice at Doctors Hospital, Lahore.He is still SECRETLY working there as a spine surgeon. In Ground Floor of the hospital but his name is not mentioned on the list of Consultants on Doctors Hospital website.Why did the Dawn newspaper publish fake news. He never stopped his practice. Infact went underground & most of his patients dont know about his lawsuit. I think even media is not reliable these days. My sister is a operation theatre nurse there & she told me about his case. How he is still working etc . PMDC, Dawn both lied. If his liecence is revoked by PMDC as we cant see his name in “search practioner” list on pmdc site . Then how & why is he still working there. & Why did you publish fake news. To make a fool out of public .. ???????? I am a nurse my self & it is my duty to raise my voice.
The private hospital’s board of directors chairman Dr Javed Asghar told Dawn the facility had stopped Dr Durrani from practice there following the PMDC action.
“On receiving a letter from the PMDC, the hospital has requested Dr Durrani to bring a renewed certificate of registration issued by the council to continue practice in our health facility”, Dr Asghar said.
