Daewoo bus service has deteriorated beyond measure. I was denied a ticket at sultan terminal despite confirmed booking. I was asked to reach half n hour before departure. I arrived exactly half n hour prior to the departure time and was told by the guy on counter that my ticket has been cancelled. Stunned, I stood there since I had to reach at the destination for an important official task. I asked for the guy who dealt with tickets for Rawalpindi. I was told he is not on seat. Anxious I kept waiting. The guy came and asked me why I was not here half n hour before the departure. The question infuriated me, since I was there exactly at time. I told him I was here, without winning his attention to the fact that the man himself was not at seat. He was visibly embarrassed and unable to tell me any reason for my cancellation. The confirmation sms in my mobile was in his face. He kept me.waiting. imagine the tactic. After three minutes, he hurriedly announced that the passengers with confirmed tickets should come at counter otherwise their tickets will be cancelled. A crowd gathered in front of his window and the time when I reached him, he told me that I was unable to appear before him in due time. The ticket has been cancelled. In fact, from today on, daewoo stands cancelled.
