Complaint against Branch Staff
I am the customer of Ex-NIB Bank KDA Gulshan-e-Iqbal Branch. On 14th February, 2018 at 2:45 p.m. unfortunately I visited your Federal “B” Area Branch (Opp: SSP Office Gulberg) to deposit cash Rs.50K due to the urgency of payment, please note that when I entered into the Branch it was acknowledged that there were 07 (seven) staff members sitting inside the cash area, having and enjoying their Lunch.
The banking operation was suspended and nobody in the branch was available to look after the customers, even the branch/operation managers were also missing from the scene.
There were 04 customers inside the branch who were waiting for these so called branch staff to finish their lunch and start the operation.
I would like to mention here that as far as my knowledge is concerned, there are instructions issued by SBP that all banks will provide service from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Non-Stop Banking), while these staff have implemented their self created rule and suspended the operation during the lunch time, kept the customers waiting which resulted the customers like myself had to wait for their mercy. May be other customers are used to it and facing this situation on a regular basis but owing to this delay I could not reach the destination where I had to attend my business meeting.
Shall appreciate if you please give me a good reason why should not I submit my complaint to SBP Banking Supervision and the Governor SBP requesting them to take the disciplinary action against this particular branch on violation of SBP Rule.
