My name is Zulfiqar. I am working in Pakistan, Peshawar (Coca Cola Icecek). I want to notify to the company the poor policy of distribution that is going on in Pakistan and in our local market. The cross infiltration of SKU’s from all across pakistan via wholesale distribution has crossed 50 percent of the total sale. The situation causes frequent departures of employees from the company and has made distribution network of Coca Cola very weak from the inside.
The company software is poorly followed as manual systems of billing and discount management is maintained at each distribution level. The growth has become stagnant due to these factors. Frequent selling packs including 1.5 litre, 2.25 litre and 1 litre Pet are sold via wholesale channels mainly into retail market. These are very serious issues and there absolutely seems no way out. Maintaining growth due to high number of these issues looks impossible.
