This is to report that today I had a worst Careem experience. It was so urgent to me that I booked a ride with1.2X peak factor. The driver came late. He went to the wrong point. When I called him to let him know about my location he started misbehaving on the phone. He said that “he has been riding for last 1.5 years and you people don’t know how to use the application”.
Later after so much complains when he reached to my place the immediate sentence he said that “this is the bad place, “bohat buri jagha hai”.
I asked not to talk like this
Afterwards, he asked me in a very weird manner (as I have asked him to drop me for free) where do I want to go. As soon as I told him the point of destination he started hammering his forehead with his fist and again repeated the same sentence as written earlier.
At this moment I told him that I am going to report this behavior of you to Careem CEO. The astonishing answer I received was “kai mai nahi darta jao ker do” the other worst answer was that “Careem mai sab CEO bunay huway hain.”
He harshly said he is not going. Harshly said to cancel the ride. When I said I will not cancel it’s you who have to cancel the ride he took away his car with speedily making the environment a bit sandy without canceling the ride. Later after few minutes I got the messaged ride canceled by the captain and a negative balance of PKR.130/- was added to my account.
He not only ruined my time but destroyed the cause of my traveling. I took his car photo which I shall send to you later.
I have the Careem CEO at IBA-Karachi and really appreciate his vision for the company. However I have a very serious query that, “How these drivers get ratted? He had a rating of 4.8.”
