My atm card had expired and few days back I received my new visa debit card. Two days back I called the call centre to activate my card. The person on duty asked me few question ,to which I responded.Then he asked my date of birth.I told him it is 16 Jan 1948. He told me that it does not match with his record and declined to activate my card. When I asked him for my next action,he advised me to visit any nearest Askari bank branch for further action. I visited Sakai branch Batkhela and narrated the whole story to the Manager. He took out my acct details,and found the date of birth correct as 16 Jan 1948. Then he asked me to call the call centre from his office. When I did so,this time a lady was on duty and she also said that my date of birth does not match. She asked me to contact the branch where I have my acct. I contacted AWT Piaza branch and narrated the whole story. Her reply was that I should apply for correction of DOB. When my DOB is correct,then why I should apply for correction of DOB. Please resolve the issue and let me know. My cnic no is37405-6007752-7. Debit card no 4797 6500 0748 4588
