It was a horrible experience journey through Careem transportation network company. As suggested on phone call through their representative in call center during the journey, I have been told that Careem system do not auto select best optimized route in case of there is a high level of traffic congestion on the shortest part. The normal 15-20 minutes journey turned into 1 hour due to their system flaw. As traffic suggested at particular point in time that 2 of the alternate routes were very clear and shows green line till the destination except the one which has been selected as a shortest path due to their system flaw. This flexible system has been placed by every other transportation company, along with that the route selection apps also have the ability to adapt to traffic condition and most recent updates.
Also the captain told that he couldn’t able to see the live traffic update through their online app, icing on the cake is I also received the bill that suggested the waiting charges are pushed into my cart that should have been catered by Careem themselves as this is Careem system flaw not from the customer or even from the captain. I have been charged 170 rs in addition to the time loss due to Careem system flaw. So overall Careem wasted time, money and also making money through it rather than having loyal customer through customer satisfaction. Can you guys please suggest why customer would come back to Careem if it hits them like that.
