I bought a Daewoo Express ticket for travel from D.I.Khan to Rawalpindi on 28-03-2021. Departure & Arrival time in D.I.Khan & Rawalpindi was 11:00 pm (28-03-2021) & 5:30 am (29-03-2021) respectively. I reached Daewoo Terminal half an hour prior to the departure for Rawalpindi. At the terminal, two buses were parked, one for Peshawar & another for Rawalpindi with both having same departure time of 11:00 pm. I handed over my bag to a Steward of the Daewoo bus bearing No. LES 7876 for putting in the cargo section of the Bus which is meant for Rawalpindi bound passengers. Later, at the ticket checking counter, I told the Guard, who was checking the tickets & collecting counter folios of the tickets, that my ticket is for Rawalpindi bound bus. Both the Steward & Guard let me go into the bus. Half way through the journey, I came to know that bus was on its way to Peshawar. I protested to the Steward for misleading me but he behaved arrogantly, say it was the fault of Guard. I did register my complaint in the Suggestion Book available in the bus against both Steward & Guard/Ticket Checker for making me believe that bus was going to Rawalpindi which in reality was Peshawar bound bus. Consequently, I suffered financial loss, stress & loss of precious time as I have to change mode of transport in Peshawar for Rawalpindi. Despite registering complaint with Daewoo Express, neither follow up action has been taken nor any remedy made. Even they have not apologized as yet.
