Contractors of road made at village 101 N/B Sgd
Dear Sir,
I am resident of Chak No.101 N.B. Tehsil & District, Sargodha. Recently, a road was constructed through/linking our village which has following deficiencies by the Contractor knowingly:
i. First of all, it is highly noticeable that not even a single speed breaker on the said road in the village has been made. Even there are crossways/crossroad/traffic circle/roundabouts and due to non-availability speed breaker many accidents have been taken place on the road in the village. An unknown rash rider has rammed a motorcycle to my son aged about 9 years who sustained injuries on the head as well as arm. This rash driving/riding on the road is due to non-availability of speed breaker on the whole road.
ii. Secondly, both sides of the road are left without proper landfill which creates severe problems, especially in rainy season. There is soil scattered on both sides of the melted road which converts into dust as well as mud in rainy season.
iii. Thirdly, no proper reflectors have been installed with proper distance on both sides of the road.
iv. Fourthly, the drain made on both sides of the road is neither according to the approved map nor have accurate level, as such the said drains are filled with dirty/untidy water all the time and there is every likelihood of spreading diseases.
2. It is therefore, humbly requested that proper inquiry against the delinquents/Contracts etc. may kindly be initiated and stern action be taken against them for usurping public money. It is pertinent mention here that due to the said deficiencies made by the Contractors the public at large are let at the mercy of the consequences. We are suffering a lot due to the less work on the project of road. The concerned persons did not even bother to make the said deficiencies. You are also requested to make audit of the project and recover the embezzled/misappropriated amount from the Contractors and delinquents and make the above said deficiencies.
3. It is respectfully submitted that at the earliest the speed breakers may kindly be installed/made on the road in the village to avoid further accidents on the road and to save the precious lives of the public at large.
