I complained Defence Karachi IBC on 2nd Jan. 2018 and no action is taken by K-Electric technical/billing staff.

In our Flats new meters were installed on 13th November, 2017 without our permission and consent.

My old meter number was TE38366. My newly installed meter No. is TO42678 with which my flat connection is attached. Meter number TO42673 which is written on my electricity bill of Nov. 2017 belongs to Commercial Shop No.3. My electricity bills are being issued with a wrong meter of a Commercial Shop. I am paying some shop bills and living in a 2 room residential flat.

It is the great negligence of technical staff of K Electric who provided wrong meter number to the billing department.

In our old meter our average electric bill was between Rs.2500 to Rs.4500/- Now first bill of new meter for the month of November 2017 for 686 Units was sent amounting Rs.10,994. In December 2017 bill of Rs.25404/- for 1265 Units is issued. We are only two persons living in the 2 room flat and both husband and wife work in Sindh Government Department. In day time our Flat is closed. In winter season this amount is six times more than my previous average.

K-Electric staff told me to to First pay the commercial shop one month bill amounting Rs.25404/- for 1265 then they will change the meter. After a great effort K-Electric changed the meter but did not correct meter reading or excessive amount. I am still contacting K-Electric IBC Defence Karachi to settle this matter.
