I have tried multiple times to reach 111-227-336 and tried to register my complaint thrice to [email protected] , yet neither the call nor my email was answered. The written complaint is reproduced below:

This is to lodge a complaint against the strange behavior of the Careem car booking app followed by a totally weird behavior by its captains.
It was May 18, 2017, Thursday afternoon, when as practice I booked Careem car using the mobile app through my mobile phone. I was at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road, Karachi and the ride was booked for Saba Avenue.
The notification about the captain that I received was of Ikram(details of the number and attempts of dialed calls can be seen at the attachment). When I dialed the received number, he told that he’s at teen talwar and will reach me in 15 mins. Yet, after this initial call he never received my calls. Trusting Careem I didn’t take screen shots of the details of Captain Ikram, else, I would have shared the details of make and registration number of this car, however, this experience has alert me to do so whenever I intend to book a ride with careem.
Meanwhile, to my surprise, I received the message from Careem intimating me about the arrival of the captain named Ibrahim Ghulam Farooq, possessing Subaru Pleo, Whiite,BHU-980 and the contact number that I received in the same message was 03002288468. (details of the number and attempts of dialed calls can be seen at the attachment)
The strangest part of this case is that when I told Ibrahim that my brother is to travel with him and I added the call to help both the person locate each other, Captain Ibrahim went silent and while I was on the call, he cancelled the ride. These two actions i-e cancellation of ride and not talking to the man raised concerns to me. Later, I booked the ride with Careem captain Sabih Haider and had a pleasant experience
Despite the concerns, I did not write Careem, as I always have superb experience with the captains and also with its customer service.
Nonetheless, today when I checked into the app to book the ride, I found negative balance of Rs. 124 and that in the case when I paid 250 for the ride of 224 rupees. Careem management should make such arrangements that the Client should also know the reason of ride cancellation by the Captain, incase if the Captain is cheating on and also, the calls of all Captains should be recorded as safety measures
I request you to look into the matter and donot charge the fee to me for the captains’ issue. If required the captain’s case shall be forwarded to CPLC for this strange behavior and necessary justice for all clients. Careem customer service could also check the call records.
